Warehouse, Frome, Somerset.
We were approached by Beinghuman to convert a run down warehouse in Frome's conservation area into a new home for beinghuman and a sustainable hub for the cultural industry. The warehouse will house a recording studio, offices, artists studios, workshop and screening facilities, a cafe and multimedia gallery.
Built originally on a steel frame structure the warehouse required numerous upgrades including new services and fire proofing works throughout. The new Office, studio, workshop and exhibition space will be available to rent in 2009
Brookover Farm, Somerset
We were approached in 2006 by Hygienic Finishes to undertake a master plan on the farm to adapt the existing outbuildings to form new office accommodation, workshops and storage facilities for the expanding company whilst adapting the existing stables and livery yard and forming a new outdoor 50 x 25m menage.
The farmhouse also has the ability to provide B & B accommodation and the master plan proposals also include extending the exisitng property to provide improved accommodation for the guests.
Barn Conversion, Somerset
AB Architectural Design Ltd. were asked to convert an existing storage barn into new office accommodation.
The Barn conversions are designed to incorporate all the necessary amenities required for the proposed development including the additional car parking and storage facilities required for the proposed offices.
Downside School, Somerset
The creation of a new boys boarding house from the existing music centre at Downside School, Somerset.
Following the schools decision to become co-educational they had to undertake the required works to convert the existing music room into new boys boarding accommodation which forms a major part of the schools ongoing program of alterations and adaptations.

Industrial Unit, Isleport
A new build industrial unit shell done on a Design & Build contract where we were asked to create the necessary building control documents and drawings.
Built on a steel frame structure with an insulated panel cladding system the industrial unit has been structured so that it may be used as a single unit or divided into three seperate units within the building.
