Conservation & Listed Building consents differ from standard planning applications and if they are required then a standard planning application will also be required
Please NOTE that it takes between 3 to 6 months to obtain Conservation & Listed Buildings approvals from your local authority

Works to buildings in Conservation areas require conservation area consent for demolition works and planning permission may be required for developments which are considered to be permitted development, i.e. small porch extensions etc.
Works to a listed building are subject to Listed Building Consent if the works require either the demolition of a listed building or you want to alter or extend a listed building in a manner which would affect its character as a building of special architectural or historic interest.
